In third-world countries like Rwanda, Niger, and Somalia clean water isn't a luxury that they can afford. Terrible living conditions force locals to consume the water that is readily available to them via their local river, stream, or well.
These sources generally have a lot of bacteria living in them such as: ecoli, coliform, and dysentary. These people generally lack the knowledge and resources to provide themselves with clean water. The goal of our project is to provide a system that can be utilized by the impoverished citizens of these countries. This system will be able to take in dirty, undrinkable waste and turn it into water comparable to the quality of bottled water.
